MRI
MRI
MRI or magnetic resonance imaging uses a magnetic field and radio waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. There is no risk of radiation. The system is capable of taking cross-sectional images of most of the body including the brain and spinal cord. During the MRI test, the patient hears loud sounds because of the many images being taken. We use equipment which shortens the test time and reduces patient stress. The system is capable of producing high-quality cross-sectional images of the entire body in every direction. Diffusion weighted MRI can take images of blood vessels and search for tumors in the body without the need for contrast materials.
